Bridgeport · ConnecticutOur story began in 1956, when my grandfather, Anthony Tavella, founded Tavella Insurance in Bridgeport, Connecticut.
He built the business by forming strong relationships within the Italian-American community and, most importantly, by treating people with honesty, respect, and a personal touch. Those relationships became the foundation of our family business.
After serving 23 years in the United States Marine Corps, my father, Anthony Tavella III, joined the family business. He continued my grandfather’s legacy while expanding the agency, growing both the insurance and personal income tax sides of the business.
Today, I’m proud to carry that legacy into its third generation.
I’m Kathryn Tavella, and I’m honored to be stepping into my role as a third-generation owner of Tavella Insurance. My goal is not only to continue what my grandfather and father built, but to create new relationships and strengthen our connections within the communities we serve.
Today, Tony and I are proud Madison residents, and our physical office is located in Stratford, Connecticut. We’re proud to serve the Connecticut community we call home—from Bridgeport to Madison, everywhere in between, and throughout the entire state of Connecticut.
